In 1985, a spin-off series, Code of Vengeance, also premiered. One other television movie, Knight Rider, served as a pilot for the 2008 television series Knight Rider. These adventures were continued with the television films Knight Rider 2000 and Knight Rider 2010 and the short-lived Team Knight Rider. The series debuted in 1982 and ran for four seasons on NBC. The protagonist(s) has the assistance of a high-tech, self-aware, and nearly indestructible vehicle. The protagonist(s) of each particular series is instructed by the Foundation for Law and Government (FLAG) to assist in some manner. Knight Rider stories usually depict either average citizens, or ethical heads of corporations, being bullied into subservience to an overbearing or ruthless criminal organization. This car, named KITT, is virtually indestructible, due to a high-tech coating applied to it. The original Knight Rider series followed the adventures of Michael Knight, a modern-day crime fighter who uses a technologically advanced, artificially intelligent automobile. Beginning with the original television series and continuing with the subsequent films and series, the franchise has developed a cult following and spawned many pop culture references. The franchise also includes three television films, a short-lived spinoff series, computer and video games, and novels, as well as KnightCon, a Knight Rider convention. The core of Knight Rider is its three television series: the original Knight Rider (1982–1986) and sequel series Team Knight Rider (1997–1998) and Knight Rider (2008–2009). Knight Rider is an American entertainment franchise created by Glen A.

It’s also micaceous, meaning that small sheets of it flake readily from the main body when the stone is disturbed. Kammererite is very soft, coming in at only 2-2.5 on the Moh’s scale. They resemble high-grade amethyst superficially, but the similarities pretty much stop there. The mineral is mainly found as densely packed formations of crystals. KammereriteĪ little-known, extremely soft mineral, Kammererite is found in Italy. While all precious stones are rare in nature, Taaffeite holds the distinction of being one of the few gemstones where you simply may not be able to find it. High-grade stones often sell as soon as they’re listed, and the few lower-grade stones around inevitably seem to be found by those willing to pay a serious premium just to own something so rare. It’s found in Sri Lanka and Myanmar in very small quantities. Samples are vanishingly rare, and anything that looks affordable is most likely a fake of one variety or another. The stone hasn’t taken off in the fine jewelry world, but it’s well known by collectors and those who try to invest in gemstones. Taaffeite occurs in many colors, but the highest-priced specimens are lavender and deep purple. Taaffeite is the only stone known to have been initially identified as a cut gemstone, having been identified by a man named Richard Taafe who found that it had some discrepancies with the spinel material it was sold as. AlexandriteĪll stones have origin stories, and the story of Taaffeite is a great one. While a bit on the red side of things, once held up to the light it’s hard to figure out why they aren’t held in the same esteem as other purple gemstones. They’re widely available in both crystal and cut form for those who are interested in them. Rhodolite garnets aren’t cheap but they’re not prohibitively expensive either. Rhodolite’s purple is an anomaly in a gemstone that already shows a wide variety of colors. Garnet, after all, is mainly considered a red stone with the possible inclusions of green tsavorite and demantoid garnets known. They’re often overlooked as a choice in jewelry by most people. Rhodolite garnets are a hybrid variety, consisting of almandine and pyrope garnet crystals packed into the same formation. These deep purple-red gemstones have a way of capturing the eye and their slight shift from burgundy to deep purple depending on the light is entrancing. Of the various orange, red, and purple-ish varieties of this precious stone my personal favorite are rhodolite garnets. I just played them and they a basically modernized spiritual successors. Was it great? Not really, but I thought it was serviceable even if it was a bit too obvious as a bridge between 1 and 2 with unnecessary things like ruining some of the mystery of 2's villain. I also played Siege of Dragonspear and I don't really get the hate. Also wasn't a fan of how you exit the starting area and you are bombarded by tons of requests for help. Everyone, is suddenly as strong as Elminister? Like, I get your character and some of those you fight, but the mooks too? Without an auto-buff mod, fights just end up become a tedious chore because without the buffs, they just take too long. I much prefer the lowkey/low level adventure of BG 1. Personally, 1 > 2 (especially with enhanced edition bringing some of the improvements of 2 into 1). I never thought they were spectacular on release, but I played the enhanced editions a few months ago and I like them so much better now. BG2 and its expansion are the games that most players are thinking of when the praise the Baldur's Gate series, and I'd argue that they have aged pretty well in most respects, although I've been playing BG2 for nearly my whole adult life and can't really pretend to understand what it'd be like to approach it cold in 2023. So there's essentially no distinction between importing your character and just making a new character and then, say, using a save editor to make it match your BG1 PC.Īnd yeah, re: the OP, BG1 is a very dated game, and if Bioware had never made BG2 it would be a minor footnote in the history of cRPGs. that may not be true of your BG1 playthrough. Literally nothing about your BG1 playthrough goes through except your character itself - the game has no memory of your choices in BG1, and in fact makes a bunch of assumptions about who your party members were, who is alive, etc. I THINK BG2 is better in this aspect and I hope I'm right :Pįor whatever it's worth, there really isn't all that much reason to do a character import in BG2. By today's standards it feels so weird sometimes how you just are not presented with right dialogue options even with high charisma. Not something like "Why do you want to kill them?". Your only two options here are "Okay" or "No!". There's a dialogue and one person just tells you to let them kill the other guy. Example - someone is chasing someone else. Dialogue options are often missing something what I feel is really important. Maybe some time in the future when there will be an opportunity for that. But what's worse - there is really small amount of nice party banter and dialogues. And while main story is good, the pacing isn't quite right. Why? Because what I enjoy the most in games like this are story and dialogues, character interactions. Now I want to beat both games before BG3 and after 20 hours in BG1 I must say that modern RPGs really made it worse. So many things to do, cool story and characters. And I remember it was epic, amazing, cool. For me it was one of the first game I've played. Still good, but not as amazing as I remember.Īs with many people I assume, this was my "first big RPG". *Google, Google Chrome, Google TV, Android, Android TV, Chromecast built-in, and other related marks and logos are trademarks of Google LLC. Any Crowns that users didn't spend before the game went free to play were converted into Kudos. Crowns were a premium currency until June 21, 2022, whereas they now only count towards Crown Rank. Players receive crowns by winning a match. Players obtain Kudos by doing weekly challenges, completing the fame pass, or in events. Using an in-game currency, "Kudos", players can purchase single cosmetics, nameplates, nametags, patterns, faceplates, and colours, for their character to show off in-game. The winner of the match is the last player standing or the first to finish. Certain mini-games include: Race rounds in which players need to make it to the finish line, Survival rounds in which players need to not get knocked off the slime, Hunt rounds in which players need to collect items to win, Logic rounds in which players need to use their memory, Team rounds in which players are part of a team and need to win against the other teams, Invisibeans rounds in which there are 2 teams, with 1 team being invisible, and final rounds in which the remaining few players compete in a final match with a randomised mini-game designed for a smaller player size. The aim is to qualify for subsequent rounds by successfully completing each of the randomly selected mini-games with randomly selected variations. Players, represented as jellybean-like figures, move around in a three-dimensional playing field, with additional moves such as jumping, grabbing/climbing, or diving to assist gameplay. Up to 40 players compete in shows with battle royale-style gameplay. Since the game's launch Mediatonic has released numerous updates for the game the tenth and current season is digital themed. The game was a commercial success, selling more than 10 million copies and attracting more than 50 million players after the game went free-to-play. As part of the transition, the game adapted a seasonal battle pass system for its monetization, offering avatar customizations to players.įall Guys received positive reviews from critics for its chaotic gameplay and visual appearance, however fan reception has been more critical in recent times. Subsequently, the game was made free-to-play on 21 June 2022 and released on additional platforms including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, with full cross-platform play support among all platforms. Following their acquisition of Mediatonic, the publishing rights were transferred to Epic Games. The game was released by Devolver Digital for PlayStation 4 and Windows on 4 August 2020. The game draws inspiration from game shows like Takeshi's Castle, It's a Knockout, Total Wipeout, and playground games like tag and British Bulldog. Players are eliminated as the rounds progress until, eventually, the last remaining player is crowned the winner. The game involves up to 40 players who control jellybean-like characters and compete against each other in a series of randomly selected mini-games, such as obstacle courses or soccer. This does keep things a bit varied as you play, but most of the time, the new game modes are just ever-so-slightly different versions of previous ones.Fall Guys (formerly known as Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout) is a free-to-play platform battle royale game developed by Mediatonic and published by Epic Games. Despite, the frantic racing and attempting to take control of the crown is a solid mechanic that does create a potentially riotous time.Īs you play, you will unlock new game modes, and there are 24 in total, counting Random. There is also an emoji button (X), but if you are playing locally, it seems kind of unnecessary. You move around with the left joystick, and you dash with B (Keep in mind that pressing B while possessing the crown will result in dropping it). The local multiplayer is actually some good fun, though, as up to 4 players can compete for the crown as they make their way to the finish line, and the controls are rather simple. Technically, you can play Clumsy Rush Ultimate Guys by yourself, but it is literally racing against no one, meaning you will always be the winner whether you are going as fast as you can or taking your sweet time. That means that this is strictly a local party game for up to 4 players which does not bode well for those looking for something silly and fun to play by themselves. There is no customization, so you simply pick the hippo best for you and move on to the gameplay.Ĭlumsy Rush Ultimate Guys does not boast a whole lot, as there is no online mode and no AI to insert for a more entertaining single player experience. Right off the bat, Clumsy Rush Ultimate Guys has a large selection of costumed clumsy clumsy hippos to choose from, and they are all fun and well designed. Like foundation, concealers offer different finishes, including matte, radiant, natural, and soft, as well as varying levels of coverage (sheer, medium, and full). The Tunze and the Resun are the only decent DC pumps I was able to find to use in a aquarium. I was going to try it with a Maxi Jet, but didn't want to deal with starting issues so I went with a DC pump. When I put it in action, it would only functionally operate at 20 pulsing at 2sec on, 2 sec off. Yesterday I made a wavebox out of 1/8 acrylic and a Tunze 6105 pump. But he didn't get the results he wanted because he couldn't get the pump to always start in the right direction. Austin, TX Rating - 0 0 0 0 Recently posted this in the DIY forum, but got little traction, so thought I would post it on here. There was also someone trying to do this with a modded Maxi Jet. Got an email that it shipped today from New York, so I should have it in a few days. Ill let you know how it goes once the new power supple gets here. As long as you dont mind losing a little space on one end of the tank you could try the Resun pump. But I'm just throwing them in the corners so I didn't care. The only down side to the pumps I'm using that I know of right now, is that they are a little large. 1 Gyarados Community Member Pacific Northwest Reefers Joined Messages 44 Reaction score 14 Review score +0 / 0 / -0 Location Sea-Tac Rating - 0 0 0 0 I saw the Comline Wavebox 6208 by Tunze and was really impressed by the wave motion it produced in the entire tank. There are many DIYs on how to do it with that pump. Then all you would have to do is build the box and "pulse adapter". It should come with the power supply/ controller for the pump. If you want to build one with a proven quality pump I would go with the Tunze 6100 series I think. Just need a sealed box with on open top to put the pump in. The Comline 6208 is great for tanks up to 210 gallons. The bursts of power drain the reservoir in the box and when the power goes off, the water begins to flow back through the pump to refill the box, this displacement of water causes the wave effect.
